Apart from strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae Y1986 our company has developed an enhanced strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae Y2283. It is used for producing alcohol from starch-containing raw materials. The main feature of strain Y2283 is significantly increased level of amylase production. Also this strain IS able to withstand the drying process. This will produce dry alcohol yeast and thus provide the best technological conditions for the production of alcohol. |
